These are the areas professionals can ask us about. Detailed policies, evidence and controlled documents are shared through the appropriate professional route.
Ofsted and regulation
The Almond Tree's Ofsted registration application is in progress. The URN will be added when received; the public website does not present the home as registered before then.
Safeguarding and child protection
Safeguarding is the first consideration in matching, care planning, daily practice, professional communication and review.
Safer recruitment and training
Staff suitability, role requirements, induction, robust training, supervision and ongoing review support safe practice.
Governance and accountability
The Registered Manager and provider leadership provide oversight of care, staffing, safeguarding, quality and regulatory responsibilities.
Therapeutic practice
Care is relationship-based, trauma-informed and informed by specialist psychological input where required by the child's needs and care plan.
Children's voice and education
Children's wishes and feelings, education, health, relationships and future goals are considered throughout the placement.
Responsible innovation
Robotics and AI remain separate from core care. Technology is optional, human-led and never a replacement for safeguarding or professional judgement.
